WHEN WE SPEAK OF PLAGUES
WE NAME INSECTS AND DISEASE
CURSING GOD AN NATURE
SPITTING BILE TOWARD THE SKY
BUT HUMAN MINDS INVENTED HELL
BROUGHT IT INTO LIFE
A SCOURGE OF ENDLESS PAIN & DEATH
A TWISTED FUCKING SACRIFICE
TRNOPLJE
OMARSKA
KERATERM
JUST MORE NAMES DRENCHED IN DEATH
IN A SEA OF FUCKING THOUSANDS
TONGUELESS CORPSES WRAPPED IN WIRE
YOUNG AND OLD CONSUMED BY FIRE
HUMAN MINDS INVENTED HELL
GAVE IT LIFE & STOKED THE FLAMES
OUR WORLD BECOMES A MORTUARY
AGAIN & AGAIN & AGAIN..
“Before us, men, some of them skeletal, lined up behind a barbed wire fence, with lantern jaws and xylophone ribcages visible beneath their putrefied skin. They in turn saw a camera crew and a clutch of reporters advancing across the withered summer grass. This was Logor Trnopolje, a teeming mass of wretched humanity.”
-Ed Vulliamy, on the concentration camps of the Bosnian War.

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it.
That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
This band's been one of my favorite acts in modern death metal for a while now, and their debut album got me sold on these guys really quick. honeycombguy
Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
On their ferocious self-titled debut, the Australian punks pit d-beat percussion against gnarled, metallic melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 3, 2024
Aussie trio Burger Chef dish out a hearty helping of noise rock with a side of d-beat: messy, raw, and oh-so satisfying. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 20, 2022
This Australian group wraps D-beat in layers of psychedelic fuzz & squall for a howl from the depths of modern dystopia. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2018
